Utilization Management Coordinator – Per Diem

Under the direction of the UM Coordinator Supervisor and the Medical Director, coordinates the activities of the UR/Case Management processes.  Performs admissions and concurrent review of all patients and coordinates with payers as it pertains to individual contract procedures.  Applicant must be a licensed LVN/RN or MFT/LCSW with psychiatric case management experience.  Must have advanced computer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  Responsibilities include providing emergency triage assessment, pre-authorization of admissions, telephonic review, and documentation of data into computer system database. 

Position is per diem (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

 

Office Assistant – Intake Department

Provides a broad range of office support to CHIPA Clinical staff and management ranging from making outbound calls to facilities/providers/members, answering phone calls, handling faxes and mail, photocopying, maintaining and ordering office supplies, preparing correspondence, entering information in the IS System and other duties as assigned. May interface with clients, providers and provider’s office staff to answer questions and complete required paperwork. Must have good language skills, as well as, excellent telephone manners and general computer skills. Previous office experience required. Full time position. Benefits follow completion of 90-day probationary period.

 

Claims Dept Office Assistant I – Full Time

Provides office support ranging from distribution and sorting of claims, distribution of daily mail and faxes, filing and other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.  Must have good language skills, as well as, excellent telephone manners and general computer skills.    Previous office experience helpful, but not mandatory.  Full time position with benefits.

 

Director of Strategic Partnerships

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, develops and implements strategic partnerships with network providers and customer accounts. Provides leadership for implementation of new accounts and will work regularly with providers and customers to identify opportunities for strategic relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior oversight for the Network Department and Provider Relations

  • Serve as account manager for provider community

  • Review and update Network policies and procedures to support strategic partnerships

  • Create and conduct presentations to provider and account partners

  • Participate in creation of business strategies to enhance provider and customer partnerships

  • Create provider contracting models for new and ongoing account implementation

  • Interface with other Senior Managers to identify required support services for strategic partnerships

  • Serve as project manager for implementation of new accounts

  • Supervise Manager, Network Development

  • Participate in Network Management, Regulatory, Quality Improvement, and Sr. Management Committees

Requirements:

  • Minimum BA degree in Healthcare or related field

  • Valid California Clinical License (RN, LCSW, Ph.D. MFT required)

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in manages behavioral healthcare.

  • Have a professional demeanor and good public relations abilities

  • Advanced level PC skills and working knowledge of Access, Word and Excel software

  • Some marketing skills desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
